Microstructure and Performance of High-Velocity Oxygen-Fuel Coupled Physical Vapor Deposition (HVOF-PVD) Duplex Protective Coatings: A Review

چکیده

The paper summarizes the current development of high-velocity oxygen–fuel coupled physical vapor deposition (HVOF-PVD) duplex coatings as protective candidates. Following a detailed historical overview HVOF and PVD technologies, fabrication methods for are presented. coating superimposes synergistic advantages deposited by PVD, where traditional weaknesses each technique modified to great certain extent. Subsequently, relation between structural characteristics their mechanical, tribological, corrosive behavior is described in detail. It demonstrated that show more excellent overall performance than both separately. Finally, we summarize promising potential HVOF-PVD applications well research prospects challenges future.
